God-Fearing | Resilient | Disciple

Hilari Montez Seagears:

A God-fearing disciple, a wife to Bobby Seagears, a mother to some incredible angels in heaven: Angel, Jordan, Christian-Noel, and Jewel Seagears. Bobby & Hilari are also parents to Nyomi Simone, Robert Stone & Elisha Jackson – beautiful manifestations of The Lord’s faithfulness – Hebrews 10:23!

Hilari is also a daughter, a sister, a friend, and published author. Born and raised in Gaithersburg, Maryland, she is the eighth of twelve children. More than anything, she values relationships, first and foremost with God, and then with family and friends. While she is initially shy and reserved, her tested 94% introvert-ness only lasts for a moment as she loves to laugh, be goofy and enjoy life.

As Hilari began to experience what seemed like a never-ending cycle of loss, beginning with the passing of her father, her faith remained anchored in God. Eventually, she would have four consecutive miscarriages that left her feeling shattered but through a spirit of resilience Hilari was determined to rise above her circumstances. Though the pain seemed insufferable, God’s generous dose of grace was all the strength she needed to be able to grow through the unpredictable and inconsiderate reality of grief. Because of the transformational miracle that God performed in her life, Hilari’s current passion is to encourage the souls of those who feel stuck in their misery and to serve mothers as they heal from the loss of their child(ren). The Power of Weakness is a book written by Hilari from a place of pain but for the purpose of healing. The miracle of healing wasn’t in her womb (God can do anything!), rather in her praise! That’s truly what the devil was after. BUT… What the enemy meant for evil, God turned for good. Hallelujah! Her ministry is to serve others as she unapologetically carries the truth and heart of Christ everywhere she goes.

Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you. When you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze

Isaiah 43:1-2
